A cat-type robot created on September 3, 2112, Doraemon travels back in time with Nobita’s great-great-grandchild, Sewashi, to save Nobita from himself. Although he always means well, usually the gadgets that Doraemon pulls from the “4D (Fourth-Dimensional) Pocket” on his tummy only make things worse. Technically, sent back as a protector, Doraemon is actually more like a best friend. Crippled by a paralyzing fear of mice, dorayaki (bean-filled jam cake) is his favorite food.
